Neighborhood 4th of July Parade

Neighborhood 4th of July Parade

It’s summer and time to celebrate. Please join your Reserve at Great Hills neighbors at the annual 4th of July neighborhood parade at Laurel Mountain Elementary (main entrances off Blue Lilly and Yaupon) on Tuesday, July 4th, starting at 8:30am. There will be breakfast tacos, cookies, donuts, drinks, etc. Decorate your strollers, wagons, bikes and pets and come out for a fun time! The Austin Fire Department will be sending a truck as usual and the parade will start promptly at 9:00am so don’t be late.

Neighborhood 4th of July Parade

Time to get out your red, white & blue to decorate your kids, pets, friends, and yourselves for our Annual July 4th Parade! The Austin Firetruck will lead the way from the LME parking lot promptly at 9 am. So, be sure to be on time!

Even better, arrive early to enjoy breakfast tacos for the first 200 attendees, cookies, cold drinks and more. So, say: “Hey Siri|Alexa|Google, add the neighborhood 4th of July parade to my calendar.” We do not want you to miss this great American tradition!

2022 Spring Fling

Bring your chairs and enjoy the 2022 Spring Fling on Saturday, May 21, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Blue Beach Cove.

This year’s kid-friendly entertainment include face painting, and balloon twist. For the adults, there will be margaritas and lots of cold drinks, including wine, beer, and sodas. Food will be provided by Tiny Buns. Come and visit with our Reserve neighbors.

Return of the Fourth of July Parade!

We are excited to announce the return of the 4th of July parade! Since July 4th falls on a Sunday this year, our parade is planned for Saturday, July 3rd, at 8:30am.

As usual, we will meet in the parking lot of Laurel Mountain Elementary School. This year’s parade will be led by our local fire fighters in a fire truck. So, be sure to decorate your bikes, scooters, strollers and wagons for the occasion.

Come and join us. This is a great chance to meet your neighbors, while you enjoy breakfast tacos and donuts. As the event date approaches, check for updated information here, on the community site, or the community Facebook page.

From The HOA Board

Hello Neighbors,

I hope this message finds you and your family doing well. This is typically the time of year when you would receive the Annual Dues invoice from the Great Hills Reserve. However, the HOA Board has approved a one-time suspension/waiver of the 2020 annual dues. This suspension/waiver is in light of the exceptional COVID-19 situation, which impacts us all. The HOA Board believes there are currently adequate reserve funds to forego assessments for a one-year cycle; however, please keep in mind that if there are unintended expenses that arise, the Board reserves the right to and may levy 2020 annual dues assessments prior to next year’s assessment cycle.
