2017 Great Hills Reserve Fall Fest
We are changing things up this Fall. Instead of the usual Oktoberfest, we will have the Fall Fest, which is a Halloween-themed, late Fall party. Fall Fest will be on Saturday, October 28th, at Blue Beach cove. Come join your neighbors from 5pm to 7pm. Those who wear their Halloween costume will receive a goodie bag.
2017 Spring Fling Postponed
The 2017 Spring Fling planned for this weekend (5/20/2017) is postponed, because the weather forecast calls for rain throughout the weekend. Watch this page for the new Spring Fling date.
Spring 2017 GHRHA Newsletter
The Spring 2017 GHRHA Newsletter is here. This Spring’s community events include the following:

2017 Easter Egg Hunt
This year’s Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday April 8th at 11 am at Great Hills Park. Remember to bring your baskets and cameras!
Appeal For Curb Appeal
One of the things we enjoy here in Great Hills Reserve is the curb appeal in our neighborhood. The sidewalks are clear and clean, the front yards are beautifully landscaped, and the garbage and recycling containers are out of sight. Unfortunately, a growing number of neighbors have their garbage and recycling containers out in plain view, which is in violation of the Great Hills Reserve Deed Restrictions. This is a gentle reminder to all neighbors to keep their containers out of sight and help preserve the desirability of our neighborhood.
Great Hills Reserve Oktoberfest Was Great
Oktoberfest 2016 war sehr gut. The band, The Happy Travelers, was a lot of fun, as usual, and the face painter was a big hit. Not only did many get painted, some also did some pumpkin painting of their own.
Time For Oktoberfest
It is Fall in Austin and that means it is time for our annual Oktoberfest celebration. This year’s festivities will be on October 22nd, from 5 to 7 pm. Mark your calendar. However, this year’s Oktoberfest will be at a new location; Canna Cove.
Another Fun Spring Fling
Another fun Spring Fling event is now behind us. It was a beautiful Austin afternoon and it was a great opportunity for neighbors to introduce themselves and catch up with what is happening in the neighborhood. For example, it was insightful to learn about which property value appraisal protest strategies have been successful.
2016 Spring Fling
The annual Spring Fling party will be held from 5-7pm this coming Saturday, May 21st on Blue Beach Cove. We will have Amy’s ice cream, margaritas, beer and wine and family drinks, together with pizza, cookies and other snacks. Enjoy entertainment from our face painter, Victoria Emma.
